A Day At Oakville Lakefront : Chill In The Heart Calm In The Mind

With the refreshing energy of a long weekend coursing through us, our day began. Morning chores and mandatory weekend tasks completed, we enjoyed a revitalizing shower and strolled to the subway station. We alighted at Toronto’s Union station, enjoyed a quick lunch at McDonald’s and then boarded Lakeshore West GO Train. After exactly close to 45 minutes, we arrived at Oakville GO ,ready to embark on our adventure.

After alighting at Oakville Go, we boarded the Oakville Transit and alighted at Navy Street, to stroll through the charming main street of downtown. It was such a cute town with delightful stores, and every downtown led to the lakeshore , which offered a mesmerizing view. This serene spot helped us find calm amidst the chaos and hustle of our daily lives.

After soaking in all the tranquility, the lakeshore had to offer, we considered visiting a mall, but early closing time made us change our plans. We returned to Toronto and boarded The Union Pearson Express, alighting at the airport. However, with the early sunset by 5pm , we could not see any flights taking off and landing.

We took the link shuttle between terminals, boarded the GO Bus transit, and arrived at Sheppard Yonge station. We picked up dinner from Tim Hortons https://www.timhortons.ca/?lang=en , a beloved coffee chain in Canada and worldwide, then boarded the subway and alighted at North York Center. Once home, we refreshed ourselves, had dinner, and called it a day.
