The Last Hurrah of 2024 : Bidding Adieu
Everyone wants to do something special and memorable during the last weekend of the year, creating moments that linger in our hearts for a long time. I, too, shared this aspiration, just like anyone else, because after all, I am an human.

Saturday started like any other, as we completed our chores and planned a personal errand. Instead of Mississauga, we chose a nearby place to complete it. We took the subway to Finch and then a bus to an Indian restaurant for a delightful lunch.
After another bus ride, we reached our destination and completed the errand before heading back to Finch. On the way, we decided to visit Vaughan to see how long it would take from North York Centre. The subway ride from Finch to Vaughan takes about 45 minutes to 2 hours, connecting downtown and parts of Mississauga.
Within 45 minutes to 1 hour from Finch, we reached Vaughan and entered a mall for some retail therapy. One memorable moment was savoring fresh Sugarcane Lemon juice, which we hadn’t enjoyed in years. We returned home content yet exhausted from our adventure, ending the day with a quiet dinner, feeling fulfilled.

Sunday, being a rainy and relaxed day, began just like any other. The rain added an extra effect, gently lowering our moods as we went about our usual chores. We immersed ourselves in cleaning our condo, a task that has become a familiar weekend ritual. Afterwards, we prepared a small yet satisfying meal for lunch and savored it together, finding joy in the simple act of sharing it together.
The afternoon brought a sense of restfulness, and we decided to visit God Almighty to pray for peace and well-being for everyone, including ourselves. The visit brought a sense of of calm and renewal. We also stopped by the Indian store to pick up some groceries , a routine task that felt comforting in its normalcy.
Upon returning home, we enjoyed a delightful dinner, ending the day with a sense of fulfillment. These chores may seem like regular tasks, but they hold a special significance. As the saying goes, it is better for life to be its best, when we find happiness in every little thing. This Sunday, despite the rain, was a reminder that joy can be found in the simplest of moments and everyday activities, bringing a sense of peace and contentment to our hearts.
