Brilliance On Day 6 : With Maa Katyayani

On day six of Navaratri, we honor Maa Katyayani. She is a fierce and radiant form of Goddess Durga. Her beauty shows both power and compassion. Welcome to “Brilliance On Day 6: With Maa Katyayani.”

“Chandrahaasojjval Karaa Shaardoolvarvaahanaa | Katyayani Shubham Dadyaad Devi Daanavghatini ||”

Meaning : ‘Devi Katyayani, who holds Chandrahaas Sword and other weapons in her ten hands, rides on Lion, and destroying demons, be propitious to me.’
Benefit : Invoking Devi Katyayani through this Mantra gives one the strength to remove all evil and negativity from one’s life.

With Maa Katyayani : Brilliance on Day 6

When Maa Katyayani appeared, she rode a lion and carried a shining sword. The demon Mahishasura had caused great suffering. No one else could defeat him. So, she faced him with fierce courage and strength. As a result, she won the battle and brought peace back to the world.

Today, devotees seek Maa Katyayani’s blessings for courage and protection. She removes fear from hearts and clears obstacles from paths. In addition, she brings strength and resilience to those who pray to her. Therefore, people feel more confident to face life’s challenges. Her grace fills their lives with hope and positivity.
